🕌 Year 8 Mosque Experience Visit

Today, the first of our Year 8 groups visited Newcastle Central Mosque as part of our LIFE curriculum – the first of three visits taking place.

Students had the opportunity to explore Islam, learn more about Muslim beliefs and practices, and ...experience a place of worship first-hand.

Experiences like this encourage our students to be open to new experiences, develop their understanding of different faiths and cultures, and show respect and tolerance for the beliefs of others.

Our Year 10 students had a valuable first-hand experience of completing Geography fieldwork at Blyth Beach last Thursday.

Students investigated and evaluated the effectiveness of coastal defences, putting their classroom learning into practice while ...developing crucial geographical fieldwork skills.
